Classification: Full-Time / Onsite

Required Certification: BICSI Level 2 or equivalent (Minimum Requirement)

Portfolio Requirement: Must provide digital examples/photos of previous "Closet Build-Out" work (Rack dressing, cable management, and labeling).

Position Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented Low Voltage Data Technicians at all levels to join our infrastructure team. This role is not just about pulling wire; it is about the "art of the install." We take pride in clean, organized, and high-performance data environments, and we expect our technicians to demonstrate that same level of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cable Infrastructure: Master-level capability in pulling, routing, and terminating CAT6/6A and fiber optic cabling.

  • Closet & Rack Build-Outs: Expertly dress and terminate cables within data closets (MDF/IDF). This includes rack mounting, patch panel termination, and meticulous cable management.

  • Pathways & Raceways: Install various types of J-hooks, cable trays, and conduit systems to code.

  • Blueprint Navigation: Read and interpret complex building prints, data schematics, and TIA/EIA standards.

  • Specialized Equipment: Safely operate scissor lifts and various power/hand tools used in commercial low-voltage environments.

  • Safety & Quality: Adhere to all OSHA safety codes and internal quality control standards.

Qualifications

  • Technical Certification: BICSI Level 1 certification (or higher) is a strict requirement for this role.

  • Experience: Proven track record in commercial low-voltage cable installation (Levels 2 & 3 must show 3–5+ years of lead experience).

  • Portfolio of Work: Applicants must be prepared to show closet build-out work examples. We are looking for "Instagram-ready" cable dressing and rack organization.

  • Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to resolve field conflicts and pathway obstructions.

  • Logistics: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to travel between job sites.
