About the Role
Creative Vision Technology (CVT), a growing leader in low-voltage solutions, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Ocean, NJ. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a background in low voltage systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering quality installations and service. You'll be part of a team that values precision, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain a variety of low voltage systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarms, audio/video, and network cabling.
  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure systems are functioning at peak performance.
  • Work directly with project managers and dispatch to meet client needs and deadlines.
  • Document work performed, maintain service logs, and ensure proper completion of work orders.
  • Follow all company and industry safety standards, staying up to date with the latest codes and technologies.
  • Assist in planning and executing project timelines and reporting progress to supervisors.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in low voltage systems (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with installation methods and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills-must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around Ocean, NJ.
