Job description

Job Summary:
Con Edison is seeking an AI Solutions Architect for their Power Platform & Copilot Studio team. This role is responsible for driving AI adoption across the enterprise by establishing best practices for low code/no code solutions and empowering business units to independently build AI applications while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
• The AI & Agentic Solutions Architect will drive AI adoption of Federated Development across the enterprise supporting both the newly formed AI CoE and Power Platform CoE
• Define and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for the Federated development, deployment, and maintenance of low code/ no code AI/Agentic Solutions
• Establish and monitor Agentic governance frameworks for low code/ no code solutions to ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Create Measures of Success for Low Code/No Code AI Federated Development & Adoption throughout the enterprise
• Enable distributed teams to design and build AI solutions within approved platforms and guardrails, ensuring consistency, reuse, and scalability while preserving local ownership and velocity
• Balance innovation with enterprise standards, operational excellence, and responsible AI practices
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, training materials, and best practice guidelines
• Promote a self-service culture by empowering users to create and manage their own solutions
• Establish and promote reusable agents, models, templates, and design standards that allow teams to scale AI development without duplicating effort
• Define target architectures for agentic solutions spanning low/no-code agent experiences in Copilot Studio, and enterprise agent capabilities in Gemini Enterprise
• Select appropriate model and platform capabilities for each use case, incorporating enterprise standards for build, deploy, manage and operational readiness
• Integrate AI & Agentic solutions with other systems and data sources, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party services
• Design and implement data models, data flows, and data integration processes
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CoPilot Studio and Gemini Enterprise applications; diagnose and resolve issues related to application performance, functionality, and integration; maintain documentation of support processes and issue resolution steps
• Develop and deliver large-scale presentations to the Power Platform and AI CoE including executive forums
• Develop a team through coaching, performance management, and effective work assignment
• Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's Degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant full time work experience utilizing CoPilot Studio, Power Platform and AI Low/No Code Tools or
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant full time work experience utilizing CoPilot Studio, Power Platform and AI Low/No Code Tools
• Experience with managing contractors or full-time employees, required
• Experience with developing Agents in CoPilot Studio, required
• Excellent collaboration and team building skills
• Proactively approaches responsibilities
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to lead/manage others
• Develops and delivers effective presentations
• Driver's License Required
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
• Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends and holidays
• The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed
Preferred:
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years relevant full time work experience utilizing CoPilot Studio, Power Platform, AI Low/No Code Tools and Azure Foundry
• Experience solutioning with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, preferred
• Experience with developing and Scaling Agents in Google Gemini Enterprise, preferred
• Experience with developing and Scaling Agents in Azure Foundry and Google Vertex, preferred
• Google AI Leader Certification Preferred
• Azure AI 900 Certification Preferred
• Azure AI 102 Certification Preferred
• Power Platform PL 900 Certification Preferred
