Job description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

The Intelligent Automation Developer is an individual contributor responsible for the end-to-end delivery, deployment, and operational support of intelligent automation solutions supporting Customer Experience (CE) and related business functions.

Operating within Stryker's global Intelligent Automation delivery model, this role designs, builds, tests, deploys, monitors, and supports production automation solutions using a combination of RPA, low-code, and approved AI capabilities.

The role reports solid line into the EMEA Business Intelligence organization, with dotted line alignment to Canadian Customer Experience leadership, ensuring global standards are met while delivering solutions aligned to local Canadian operational needs.

This role is a hybrid role with expectations to be on-site (in office) at least two days in a week.

What you will do

  • Design and develop intelligent automation solutions using robotic process automation (RPA), low-code tools, and approved AI capabilities.
  • Build workflow-based and event-driven automations that standardize processes and reduce manual handling across Customer Experience operations.
  • Create automation-enabled apps or user interfaces that guide users through streamlined business workflows.
  • Implement AI-assisted patterns (such as routing, classification, and human-in-the-loop steps) where governed and appropriate.
  • Select the right approach (RPA, low-code, or AI) based on process complexity, risk, and scalability.
  • Integrate automations with enterprise applications, data sources, and cloud services to enable secure, reliable data movement.
  • Test solutions through unit testing and support system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deploy hypercare.
  • Monitor production automations, troubleshoot failures with root cause analysis, and maintain runbooks, build notes, and documentation to support adoption and ongoing operations.

What you will need

Required

  • University degree or college diploma in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in intelligent automation, automation engineering, RPA, or low-code development roles (such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or equivalent technologies).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure resources used for automation solutions (for example, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Automation, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor/Application Insights)

Preferred

  • Platform certification in an automation or low-code technology (for example, UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform).
  • Bilingual (French).
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
