Job description

Role Overview
Are you a master of the "Best Brew"? We are looking for a charismatic and efficient Part-Time Bartender to anchor our lounge during the peak evening hours. Located minutes from the world's busiest airport, our lounge is a sanctuary for weary travelers, business professionals, and local guests.
As our PM Bartender, you aren't just pouring drinks; you are a brand ambassador providing a welcoming atmosphere, local recommendations, and a perfect pour of our signature craft beers and cocktails.
Key Responsibilities
The Perfect Pour: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Marriott and Four Points brand standards, with a focus on our Best Brewsยฎ local craft beer program.
Guest Engagement: Provide "honest, uncomplicated comfort" to guests. Engage in friendly conversation, anticipate needs, and handle high-volume airport rushes with a calm, professional demeanor.
Lounge Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Perform opening/closing duties specifically for the 4 PM - 11 PM shift, including drawer reconciliation and inventory counts.
Culinary Collaboration: Take food orders for the lounge menu, ensuring accurate delivery and a seamless "Bar-to-Table" experience.
Compliance: Verify identification for the legal craft of drinking age (21+) and monitor guest consumption to ensure a safe and responsible environment.
Problem Solving: Efficiently handle guest concerns or special requests, ensuring every traveler leaves more relaxed than when they arrived.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel or high-volume airport environment.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of classic cocktails, wine service, and craft beer.
Speed & Accuracy: Ability to multitask and maintain high service standards during "push" periods (e.g., flight delays or large group check-ins).
Reliability: Since this is a critical PM shift, punctuality and consistent attendance are non-negotiable.
Certifications: Active TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification (or ability to obtain one prior to start).
Physical: Ability to stand for the duration of a 7-hour shift and lift/carry up to 30 lbs (kegs, ice, glass racks).
Why Join the Four Points Team?
Travel Perks: Explore the world with significant discounts at Marriott International properties worldwide.
Dynamic Environment: No two nights are the same at an airport property-you'll meet people from all over the globe!
Career Growth: Access to Marriott's world-class training and development programs.
