Location: Atlanta, Georgia

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Status: Part-time

Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage

Pay Range: $17.00/hour + tips

Job Summary: The Lounge Server responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing guest needs and providing personalized recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for providing food and beverage service while maintaining a clean and safe lounge environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Provides food and beverage service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

  • Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the lounge area, including furniture and facilities.

  • Sets up umbrellas, loungers, and sunbeds for guest comfort.

  • Welcomes guests and provides them with towels, shade, and refreshments.

  • Attends to guest requests and ensures a positive lounge experience.

  • Organizes towels and maintains towel racks and boxes.

  • Clears used towels, glasses, and trash throughout the day, maintaining cleanliness.

  • Communicates with the Food and Beverage Department to ensure timely guest service.

  • Monitors the cleanliness of the deck space, performing regular sweeps and checks.

  • Enforces safety protocols and reports any incidents or damages to leadership.

  • Maintains lounge chairs, towel bins, and equipment with regular cleaning.

  • Ensures proper music genre and volume levels are maintained.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • One year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Ability to perform basic computer and POS system functions.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing high-quality guest experiences.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily works outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

  • May be exposed to and use cleaning chemicals throughout the shift.

  • Stands and walks for more than two-thirds of the shift.

  • Sits for less than one-third of the time.

  • Lifts up to 25 lbs regularly.

  • Pushes and pulls objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
