Job description

Are you someone who enjoys working outside, staying active, and taking pride in keeping a property organized and well maintained? Bretz RV & Marine is looking for a dependable, hands-on Lot Manager to support our Mankato dealership.
The primary focus of this role is moving, organizing, and maintaining our RV and boat inventory while helping keep the dealership grounds and facilities in excellent condition. Responsibilities may change depending on the season and the needs of the dealership, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Our number one goal is to help families go camping and boating. This position plays an important role in keeping our dealership safe, organized, and ready for our customers and employees.
**The employer has identified this position as a safety-sensitive position and requires pre-employment drug screening, including for non-psychoactive THC.**
Responsibilities
  • Safely move, park, and organize RVs, boats, trailers, and other inventory.
  • Maintain an orderly and professional appearance throughout the dealership lot.
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing inventory for sales, service, and customer deliveries.
  • Perform regular lot checks and help ensure units are properly positioned, secured, and accessible.
  • Operate forklifts, tractors, trucks, and other dealership equipment as needed.
  • Assist with mowing, weed control, snow removal, and general seasonal property maintenance.
  • Complete basic repairs and maintenance around the dealership when appropriate.
  • Help maintain outdoor areas, storage spaces, buildings, equipment, and dealership grounds.
  • Support the sales, service, parts, and operations teams as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating vehicles, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on dealership needs.

Requirements
  • Experience safely moving, backing, and parking trailers or other large equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Previous forklift, tractor, towing, landscaping, maintenance, construction, farming, or similar hands-on experience is helpful.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Willing and able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
  • Basic mechanical ability and confidence completing minor repairs are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and identify tasks that need attention.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
