Location: Onsite - Location preference- Atlanta & Detroit (Specifically Smyrna and Romulus)

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics: 

The Loss Prevention Investigator Senior Specialist conducts in-depth investigations into internal theft, fraud, and policy violations, with a strong focus on employee-related shrinkage. This role partners closely with HR, Operations Leadership, and Security teams to gather evidence, conduct interviews, and ensure all investigations comply with company standards and legal requirements.

This role supports organizational integrity by driving accurate investigations, recommending preventive measures, and reinforcing loss prevention policies.

The Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investigations, loss prevention, or related field

  • Deep understanding of industry principles and terminology

  • Working knowledge of standard office software and technologies

  • Ability to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company security protocols during investigations

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Your Mission in Motion: 

A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives. 

  • Investigation ownership: Investigate suspected employee theft, fraud, and misconduct within the warehouse environment.

  • Evidence gathering & analysis: Collect and analyze evidence including transaction data, shipping records, surveillance footage, and witness statements.

  • Interviews & fact-finding: Conduct interviews with employees and witnesses in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

  • Reporting & findings communication: Prepare detailed investigation reports and present findings to HR and management for action.

  • HR partnership & disciplinary alignment: Collaborate with HR on disciplinary measures and termination processes when necessary.

  • Documentation & compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of investigative activities and ensure alignment with audit and compliance requirements.

  • Prevention & process improvement: Recommend preventive measures and process improvements to reduce internal theft opportunities.

  • Training & policy reinforcement: Assist in training supervisors and employees on loss prevention policies, ethical practices, and security protocols.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position.
