Job description

Product Director, Searcher Experience, LoopNet

We are hiring a Product Director to lead the searcher side of the LoopNet experience โ€” everything a tenant, buyer, or investor touches from the moment they land on LoopNet to the moment they find the right space. The role owns product strategy and execution across the Homepage & User Accounts, Search Results Page, and Listing Details Page teams, managing two Product Managers and partnering closely with design and engineering leadership. You will work alongside the Senior Product Director, Lister Experience, to ensure a coherent endโ€‘toโ€‘end experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy and roadmap for the endโ€‘toโ€‘end searcher experience: homepage, search results, and listing details.
  • Lead and manage two Product Managers, setting priorities and sequencing work across the Homepage & User Accounts, Search Results Page, and Listing Details Page teams.
  • Partner with the Senior Product Director, Lister Experience, to ensure a consistent, coherent experience for both sides of the marketplace.
  • Define and drive the vision for bringing AI into the search and discovery experience, including conversational search and personalization.
  • Set and track product KPIs for search relevance, engagement, and conversion across the searcher journey.
  • Partner with design and engineering leadership to resolve crossโ€‘team tradeโ€‘offs and ensure a consistent experience across surfaces.
  • Represent the searcher experience in crossโ€‘functional planning with marketing, sales, and analytics.
  • Coach and develop the Product Managers on your team, building their product judgment and execution rigor.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited, notโ€‘forโ€‘profit, inโ€‘person university or college.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other Product Managers.
  • Experience owning a multiโ€‘team product area endโ€‘toโ€‘end, ideally spanning search/discovery and detailโ€‘page experiences.
  • Experience with consumerโ€‘facing, highโ€‘traffic search or marketplace products.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable setting and tracking KPIs and using experimentation to validate decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and crossโ€‘functional leadership skills.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or shipping products with conversational AI, generative AI, or personalization/ranking systems.
  • Experience in commercial or residential real estate, or other twoโ€‘sided marketplaces.
  • Experience partnering with a peer product leader who owns an adjacent, complementary customer segment (e.g., supply vs. demand sides of a marketplace).

Base Compensation: $179,000 - $241,000 Annually.

Benefits
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage: Medical / Vision / Dental / Prescription Drug
  • Life, legal, and supplementary insurance
  • Virtual and inโ€‘person mental health counseling services for individuals and family
  • Commuter and parking benefits
  • 401(K) retirement plan with matching contributions
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Onโ€‘site fitness center and/or reimbursed fitness center membership costs (location dependent)
  • Access to CoStar Groupโ€™s Employee Resource Groups
  • Complimentary gourmet coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, and other healthy snacks
