Job description

Job Title: Looker Developer

Location: Irving, TX (On-site/Hybrid)
Type: Contract


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and build LookML models (views, explores, dimensions, measures) for healthcare analytics.

  2. Optimize SQL queries and data models in BigQuery and Snowflake for performance and cost-efficiency.

  3. Implement row-level security and access filters to ensure HIPAA-compliant data governance.

  4. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver executive-level dashboards.

  5. Use Git-based workflows for LookML code management and deployment across dev, test, and prod environments.


Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Looker/LookML development.

  • Strong SQL skills with experience in BigQuery or Snowflake.

  • Experience building star-schema and snowflake-schema data models.

  • Knowledge of healthcare data (claims, membership, provider) and HIPAA compliance.

  • Proficiency with Git version control and Looker deployment processes.

  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Irving, TX.
