Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


American Leadership Academy - Lexington is now accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher for the 2026 academic school year. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Deliver instruction according to lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
  • Manage classroom behavior in alignment with school policies and expectations.
  • Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and other assigned areas.
  • Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all learners.
  • Adapt to different grade levels, subject areas, and instructional needs as assigned.
  • Record attendance and report any incidents, concerns, or issues to school administration.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
