Patient Engagement Specialist

We’re expanding our team with a dynamic and service-oriented Patient Engagement Specialist—a key support role that enhances the overall patient experience while helping our clinic run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Overview:

As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you’ll be the welcoming face of the clinic and the behind-the-scenes support our team counts on. From helping patients feel at ease to assisting with wellness product sales, light cleaning, and keeping everything flowing, you’ll be essential in creating a positive environment where patients feel cared for and staff can focus on delivering top-tier care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients, assist with check-ins, and help maintain a warm, supportive atmosphere.

• Answer phones, receive faxes, verify Insurance and collect co-pays each visit

• Assist in scheduling initial evaluations and follow up visits

• Coordinate with patients and therapist in our Mobile division for efficient service.

• Support physical therapists with non-clinical tasks (e.g., equipment setup, basic patient assistance).

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas, lobbies, bathrooms and shared spaces.

• Educate patients on wellness products and assist in managing sales and inventory.

• Ensure the clinic is always stocked, tidy, and ready to deliver an outstanding experience.

• Assist with community events, patient education handouts, or clinic promotions as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare or fitness background a plus.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• A natural “people person” with a positive attitude and team spirit.

• Comfortable with light cleaning and being on your feet for most of the shift.

• Experience in retail or sales is a bonus.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to support wherever needed.
