Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
  • BLS certification required before first shift
  • ACLS certification required before first shift
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
  • Experience working with medically complex, rehabilitation-focused, or long-term acute care patients preferred
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced acute care nursing environment
Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient progress, recovery, and rehabilitation goals
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient/family education from admission through discharge
  • Communicate changes in patient status to the appropriate care team members to support continuity of care
  • Support a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients, families, and staff
  • Assist with supervision and direction of ancillary staff as needed
