At Pearson Logistics we believe in balance. Our local and regional routes depart daily from 3am – 10am and allow you to be home same-day. Work as much or as little as you want. In addition, we offer the following benefits:

· $60,000 - $120,000 per year

· $25.00+ per hour based on Experience, Local routes, Same-day routes

· $5,000 Sign-on Bonus paid during first 12 months

· $4,000 Safety & Performance Bonus paid $1,000 every 3 months

· Up to $0.60+ per mile based on Experience, Regional routes

· Hourly Detention Pay After 3 hours

· Per Diem Downtime Pay

Job Description:

Responsible for operating Day Cabs and Sleeper Tractor-Trailers safely and on time from our Grand Rapids MI facility to our customers in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. Flexible schedule and routes. Must be qualified to drive by DOT, Company, State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

 Safely drive assigned vehicles.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Follow all company safety procedures and company policies.

· Responsible for delivery documentation, proof of delivery, etc.

· Communicate daily with dispatchers during route.

· Conduct inspections on assigned vehicles.

· Maintain clean vehicles.

Position Requirements:

· CDL-A; minimum 1-year driving experience

· Understanding of Refrigerated Reefer Trailers

· Ability to follow DOT and HOS requirements

· Ability to read and write in English

· Embrace a positive attitude during changing situations

· Ability to lift, push, or move products up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to bend and twist at the neck and waist

· Capable of working in various weather conditions

· Must have a winning attitude!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 - $120,000 per year; $0.50 to $0.60 per mile
