Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to deliver meals to homebound seniors. The primary responsibility is to ensure timely and courteous delivery of meals while monitoring client well-being and maintaining vehicle condition.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver meals to homebound seniors in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
  • Transport delivery staff to and from their assigned delivery routes.
  • Monitor clients and their home environments during deliveries, reporting any concerns or changes as appropriate.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned vehicles while assisting with routine vehicle maintenance oversight.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical, safety, or structural issues.
  • Ensure all vehicle documentation, including registration, insurance, and inspection records, remains current and compliant.
  • Accurately maintain daily records of meal deliveries and client contributions collected.
  • Assist with coordinating delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time and distance.
  • Track and document daily fuel usage and vehicle mileage.
  • Return assigned vehicles to the designated garage or parking location at the end of each workday.

Qualifications

Additional Requirements
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 2pm (32-33 hours per week)
