Long distance delivery drivers typically earn between $45,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience, routes, and company policies. Overtime, bonuses, and per-mile pay can increase total earnings, and drivers often need a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and good driving record.

Long distance drivers usually spend many hours on the road and may be away from home for extended periods. This role is vital for keeping supply chains running efficiently.

In this role, you also service your vehicle to ensure its reliability for future operations, consult with warehouse teams on the products to be moved, inventory each shipment, wrap products with additional protection blankets as needed, and manage the distribution of weight within the vehicle.
