Job description

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you'll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

What You'll Do
  • Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
  • Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
  • Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
  • Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
  • Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
  • Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
  • Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
  • Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
  • Check to make sure loads are secure
  • Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
  • Perform basic financial data entry
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What You'll Need
  • 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred 
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
  • Forklift certification
