Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Desktop Administrator to join our IT support team in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, endpoint management, hardware/software troubleshooting, and L2 desktop support.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can take ownership, independently drive projects, resolve complex end-user issues, and consistently meet SLA commitments in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.

  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems.

  • Perform Windows 11 installations and upgrades across laptops and desktops.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application, connectivity, and peripheral issues.

  • Manage endpoint patching and configurations using SCCM and Microsoft Intune.

  • Support Active Directory and Azure AD account and access-related issues.

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, business applications, network configuration, and user connectivity issues.

  • Provide on-site and remote support using tools such as Bomgar, LogMeIn, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Manage incidents, service requests, escalations, and changes through ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira, or similar ITSM platforms.

  • Coordinate with hardware/software vendors for repairs, replacements, warranty claims, and technical issues.

  • Support endpoint security requirements, including antivirus, device encryption, and Trend Micro.

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and ticket records.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and other functional teams to resolve escalated issues.

  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets and strict adherence to SLA requirements.

  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

  • Independently lead and drive assigned technical projects through successful completion.
