In collaboration with the VP of Business Technology Integration & Intelligence Implementation, the Manager of Data & Analytics develops and delivers a strategy-aligned analytics and business intelligence (BI) roadmap that enables actionable, timely, and scalable decision-making across the organization supporting Logix's goals to deepen member relationships, improve operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities to monetize data where appropriate. This role leads a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, visualization specialists, a data governance program manager, and ETL engineers, balancing speed-to value with sustainable quality standards. The role partners closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, to prioritize initiatives based on business value and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage capacity, priorities, and performance for a high performing team of Database Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientistsand Data Governance Program Manager, ensuring delivery commitments balance speed, quality, and business value.
  • Oversee the delivery of data related projects including planning, resource allocation, requirements gathering, solution development, documentation, testing, and delivery. Manage an intake process, prioritizing requests, delivering quick turn-time insights while supporting larger roadmap initiatives. Communicate objectives, roadmaps, options/trade-offs, progress, risks, and realized outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with various business units, department management, and executive leadership to translate strategy into measurable analytics use cases and embed data-driven decision-making across the organization, including executive-ready storytelling, change adoption, and user enablement.
  • Manage data quality and reliability of member and operational data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, aligning standards to critical business uses (regulatory, financial, member experience, and operational reporting). Remediate errors and work with business users to determine root cause, requirements, resolution, and validation, with a focus on preventing recurrence and improved cycle times.
  • Oversee the build, optimization, and automation of data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability of management reporting tools, budgeting and forecasting models, and KPI dashboards, enabling actionable insights that support member growth, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Data Governance Program Manager to execute the Data Governance roadmap, including data ownership/stewardship, business definitions, metadata, and controls that improve trust and usability of enterprise data.
  • Manage key system performance, security, and availability of platforms used within the department. Partners with IT/Security to ensure appropriate controls, monitoring, and incident response practices are in place.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable and reliable business intelligence systems (e.g. customer data platform, cloud database, etc.) aligned with evolving business needs, enabling governed self-service and reusable data products (datasets, metrics, dashboards) for business teams.
  • Lead high-impact analytics initiatives for Logix's business strategy by translating complex business questions into structured analytical solutions and fostering advanced analytics best practices, with clear success metrics tied to member growth/retention, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and revenue/ROI (including data monetization opportunities where applicable).
  • Monitors and adopts emerging technologies and industry trends, including advancements in artificial intelligence, to evolve department capabilities and ensure it remains innovative, effective, and aligned with future business needs.
QualificationsEducation
  • BA/BS degree in Math & Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Data Science.
Experience
  • 5-7
  • Minimum of 5 years in data analysis, profiling, data manipulation, data mining, data extraction, data enrichment
 Knowledge, Skills & Ability 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into an analytics/BI roadmap, prioritize work based on value, and deliver actionable insights with appropriate speed and quality.
  • Strong ability to communicate insights to executive and non-technical audiences using clear narratives, visuals, and recommendations that drive decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge of Credit Union products, regulatory requirements, laws and practices.         
  • Strong understanding of credit union performance and member metrics, including loan and deposit growth, member acquisition and retention, product penetration, credit quality, and key financial performance & profitability ratios.
  • Familiar with Agile Development Methodology. Experience using Agile methods such as Scrum or Lean Development.
  • Strong project management skills ability to manage delivery through iterative releases, communicate timelines and milestones, and drive quick wins while maintaining sustainable solutions.
  • Experience with statistical modelling and understanding of Machine Learning.
  • Working knowledge of credit union core systems and adjacent platforms (e.g., Symitar or similar), digital channels, and consumer/residential/commercial loan origination systems preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of analytical methods and regression models, and advanced analytics software (SAS, R, Python, Azure Machine Learning and others).
  • Must commit to building and fostering internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated rigor in data management practices (definitions, controls, documentation, and validation) to ensure decision-quality data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with leaders and associates at all levels.
  • Proficient with Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy or similar tools, including the ability to establish standards and enable governed-self-service reporting.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Databricks preferred.
