Overview

The Sr. Director, Recruitment is responsible for helping shape and execute the company's growth strategy. This leader develops and implements enterprise recruitment strategies under the direction of the Chief Delivery Officer while driving operational excellence, talent development, and business growth 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy 

  • Serve as a key leader in developing and executing recruitment strategies that drive growth and achieve company objectives.
  • Act as decision-maker in the absence of the Chief Delivery Officer.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, special projects, integrations, and change management efforts across teams, systems, processes, and technology.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, goal-setting, and company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate organizational priorities, growth strategies, and performance outcomes to leadership teams.
  • Participate in and contribute to leadership, management, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Lead strategic client relationship management 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Directly lead, coach, and develop Recruitment Directors and their teams.
  • Establish best practices, performance expectations, and development plans for leaders.
  • Create and execute hiring strategies for Recruiters, Team Leads, and Directors.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture through coaching, recognition, incentives, and career development.
  • Continually develop leadership capabilities through professional development and industry education. 

Business Performance 

  • Achieve or exceed departmental revenue, volume, and margin goals.
  • Develop and implement growth plans tailored to team, market, and business needs.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and utilize data to guide business decisions and strategy.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Use intelligence to drive strategic decisions 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Strategically enhance cross-functional partnerships including Human Resources, Finance, facilities, and other shared services teams on office and operational initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between client management, candidate management, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and global teams.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to support organizational goals. 

Team Visibility & Engagement 

  • Maintain a visible and engaged leadership presence across the organization by:  
  • Attending team stand-up meetings. 
  • Conducting regular check-ins with Recruitment Team Leads. 
  • Meeting with newly hired Recruiters. 
  • Establishing ongoing connections with recruiters across tenure levels. 

Operational Excellence 

  • Lead implementation and communication of process, policy, and system changes.
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and operational effectiveness across teams and locations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on company policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive strategic process improvements based on feedback. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. 
  • Minimum of three years of successful leadership experience with a demonstrated record of achievement. 
  • Proven success leading high-performing sales and recruitment organizations. 
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead leaders, influence change, and drive organizational growth. 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Experience utilizing analytics and performance metrics to drive strategy and decision-making. 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, TargetRecruit, and related technology platforms.
