Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. To empower our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Logistics Manager located in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods throughout the supply chain. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and third-party logistics providers to drive operational excellence, improve delivery performance, optimize inventory levels, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Logistics Manager will provide strategic direction, develop logistics initiatives, and lead continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing costs, mitigating supply chain risks, increasing efficiency, and achieving business objectives while meeting customer commitments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee transportation, and distribution operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished goods across the supply chain.
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies that optimize service levels, improve operational efficiency, and reduce overall transportation and distribution costs.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, freight spend, and customer service metrics.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to align logistics activities with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and compliant transportation services.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing logistics processes, strengthening supply chain performance, and mitigating operational risks.
  • Oversee logistics systems, reporting tools, and data accuracy to support informed decision-making and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Drive logistics planning, forecasting, and resource allocation activities to support business growth, improve operational performance, and achieve customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 8+ years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations.
  • A strong manufacturing background with experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Tariff and tariff code knowledge.
