Job description

Summary:ย 

The Logistics Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services in support of operations and programs as well as maintaining accurate records and maintenance of the fleet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow daily transportation schedule
  • Track vehicle mileage
  • Refuel fleet vehicles and document fuel costs
  • Perform routine, visual inspections on fleet vehicles using an inspection sheet
  • Communicate with auto repairs shops and supervisor regarding repairs needed and/or being performed on fleet vehicles
  • Pick up donations
  • Transport program residents

Qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license and clear driving record

Must have high school diploma or GED

Religious Qualifications:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated through a profession of faith.
  • Actively participate in and remain in good standing with a local Christian church.
  • Support and uphold the mission, values, and Christian principles of House of Hope of the Pee Dee.
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, humility, and compassion.
  • Have a passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship.
