Position OverviewAt Stiiizy, the Logistics Ops Coordinator in our startup cannabis retail company is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of products through the supply chain, focusing on the coordination and execution of day-to-day logistics tasks. This role involves managing inventory records, scheduling shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods. The Logistics Operations Coordinator works closely with the Logistics Supervisor to assist with warehouse operations, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. This position also involves liaising with vendors and transportation providers to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Proficiency in logistics management and inventory software, such as ERP or WMS systems, for tracking and organizing supply chain activities.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
  • Ability to schedule and track shipments using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar tools.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving logistical issues, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards, especially within regulated environments like cannabis.
  • Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records with accuracy.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for collaborating with vendors, transportation providers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, such as Excel, to monitor and report on logistics performance metrics.

Physical Demands
  • Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
