Job description

Summary
This position is a key role of CRRC Sifang America Inc.'s logistics operation. The operation includes: coordinating and forecasting the inventory and logistics plan, creating and advising daily warehouse jobs according to the inventory and logistics plan, expediting late or urgent deliveries, receiving material, coordinating material reviews with the Quality team, stocking the material, moving material from storage to kitting and from kitting to the Production Department area, and shipping completed goods to the customers. The person hired for this position will be required to maintain data and reports by utilizing designated software and program proficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Cooperate with the logistics supervisor to allocate daily warehouse jobs to workers.
• Closely cooperate with the production department, technology/quality department, and procurement department to fulfill conventional and expedited manufacturing demand.
• Use warehouse and resource management software to input, manage, and analyze logistics operations data.
• Prepare Kanban reports by extracting, combining, and analyzing data from a company database; create performance reports and periodically report to the supervisor.
• Solve problems in parts receiving, abnormal Kanban, and parts returning/rejecting, and conduct cycle counting, warehouse storage optimization.
• Maintain a working spreadsheet of inbound deliveries and shipments, prepares parcels for shipping.
• Print, distribute, collect and archive Kanban orders.
• Implement and optimize ERP/SAP/WMS system for improving work efficiency and data accuracy.
• Facilitate coordination and communication between local Procurement & Logistics Department staff and our parent company in China.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
• A bachelor's degree from four-year college/university or three or more years' related experience

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
