Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The role focuses on operational and technical support for the Logistics Execution team, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting analysts with data gathering, processing, and preparation for reporting on distribution planning indicators and other logistics metrics.
  • Supporting analysts with the implementation of logistics strategies by executing daily operational tasks and maintaining process adherence.
  • Supporting analysts for day-to-day communications with carriers, logistics managers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintaining and updating logistics systems, databases, and records to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Supporting customer service by addressing basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to analysts or managers as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and company standards by assisting in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Handling routine tasks such as report generation and follow-ups with internal teams.
  • Providing after-hours support for emergencies under the guidance of analysts.
  • Primarily office-based role but will visit truck operations from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with logistics or fuel dispatch software such as TMW, Telepoint, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain operations, transportation logistics, or inventory management.
  • Basic knowledge of fuel supply chain.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
