Job description

USXL is looking for an experienced logistics professional to join our operations team.

This role will help manage evening operations, support our drivers, and ensure freight continues moving safely and efficiently after normal business hours.

 

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor pickups and deliveries
  • Monitor refrigerated trailer temperatures and respond to issues
  • Build and coordinate loads
  • Review driver Hours of Service and available drive time
  • Communicate directly with drivers regarding daily operational issues
  • Troubleshoot delays, service failures, and other problems as they arise
  • Coordinate after-hours maintenance needs when necessary
  • Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and the operations team


Qualifications

  • Previous trucking, transportation, or logistics experience required
  • Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations
  • Experience working directly with CDL drivers
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Some on call nights & weekends
