You will coach, guide, and mentor a group of associates to create culture of safety, quality, and service. You will collaborate across departments and sites in an effort to drive continuous improvement within inventory management, labor productivity, and customer service activities.Responsibilities: Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular presence on the floor, engaging with team members across functions to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure completion of all relevant training and observationsEnsure all team members follow standard work procedures that allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods inventory locationsDevelop and sustain staffing model meet inbound and outbound shipment requirements, while striving to remain a shipper of choice for carriersHire, train, develop, and grow team of hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver financial resultsThis position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and QualityOther responsibilities, as necessary. Supervisory: This position has supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Related Field Preferred3-5 years experience in Distribution / Warehouse setting or supply chain management roleFood/beverage and/or CPG experience preferredExperience with ERP, WMS, and WES preferredPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
