Overview
Join our dynamic team as an  Delivery Lead  Dispatcher, where your organizational skills and transportation expertise will drive efficiency and excellence in delivery operations. In this vital role, you will coordinate the dispatching of delivery drivers, optimize routes using a DSP dvanced GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology, and ensure timely deliveries that delight customers. Your proactive communication and problem-solving abilities will keep our logistics moving smoothly, making a real impact on customer satisfaction and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily dispatching of delivery drivers using transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure seamless shipping & receiving processes.
  • Utilize data entry skills to update and maintain accurate records within systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, and AS400.
  • Monitor real-time fleet movements via GPS and GIS platforms to address delays or issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers through multi-line phone systems, providing clear instructions and support during shift operations.
  • Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, shipping regulations, and company policies during dispatching activities.

Schedule 

  • Schedule is 4 days on 3 days off or 5 days on 2 days off depending on future structure.
