Sr. Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor
Location: St. Louis, MO, US

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations, including the efficient movement and storage of goods, materials, and products. This role ensures that the logistics processes are aligned with the company's objectives and comply with safety, quality, food safety and regulatory standards. The Sr. Supervisor, Warehouse/Logistics will lead a team of logistics professionals, coordinate with various departments, and work to optimize logistics operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Your key responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation, storage, costs and distribution processes
  • Accurately fill a daily packing sheet, ensure packaging and labeling of finish product meets the needs of customer or internal usages per instructions
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess and obsolete stock
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation
  • Utilize data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance logistics efficiency

You bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field โ€ข
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS)
  • Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) are preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary range: $100,000-$110,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
