Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee and optimize our company's logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of logistics principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Logistics Operations: Oversee all aspects of the logistics cycle, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and warehousing.
  • Coordinate Shipments: Schedule and coordinate all product distribution and shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to secure favorable terms.
  • Manage Budgets: Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Supervise Logistics Team: Manage and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Track and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
