Eve International Logistics is a third-party logistics company focused on delivering fast and efficient supply chain solutions to customers. The Company was founded in 2017 and has experienced strong growth since its inception. EVE is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago, surrounded by several shops and restaurants. It is walking distance to public transportation via the L train - the brown line (Western Ave.) - to allow for several commuting options.

The Logistics Coordinator prepares, routes and manages the company’s shipments. This includes reviewing shipment materials before distribution, collaborating with transportation providers to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and deliveries, and monitoring shipments in progress.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
  • Track and fix shipping errors.
  • Ensure that the quality of all services provided meet the required standards.
  • Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Varies by candidate; Day Shift (5 days a week) and Night Shift (4-5 nights a week) opportunities; 8-hour shifts


Compensation:

  • Night Shift Position - hours may vary based on candidate preference and business needs (estimated 10:00pm - 7:00am / 5:00pm - 1:00am): $23.00 - $25.50 per hour
  • Eligible for periodic and year-end bonuses
  • Eligible for overtime if exceeds over 40 working hours in seven day period
