Job description

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking a Project Manager in the Reno area to lead major mechanical construction projects across HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, boiler, and chiller scopes, from the fabrication shop to the job site.

Impact

  • Keep large projects on schedule and on budget through disciplined coordination.
  • Cut delays by managing logistics between fabrication shops, tool cribs, warehouses, and job sites.
  • Deliver complex boiler and chiller installations with predictable results.
  • Keep crews supplied with the right tools, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle from planning through closeout.
  • Coordinate freight, shipping, receiving, and deliveries to prevent downtime.
  • Track schedules across sheet metal, piping, and plumbing crews.
  • Resolve material shortages before they hit the critical path.
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance on quality and safety.
  • Align fabrication and warehouse output with field needs.
  • Report status, risks, and forecasts to leadership.

Must-Haves

  • Project management of large commercial mechanical construction.
  • Experience coordinating prefabrication and jobsite logistics.
  • Strong scheduling and cost control.
