Job Summary

The Account Manager (Hospitality & Events) serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, guiding projects from initial planning through event execution. This role is responsible for building lasting client relationships, coordinating event logistics, communicating with internal teams, and ensuring every event is delivered with accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional service.

Success in this role requires outstanding organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts
  • Build long-term relationships by understanding each client's goals, expectations, and event requirements
  • Provide recommendations and solutions that align with client needs and company capabilities
  • Ensure clients are informed of venue requirements, legal regulations, and company policies throughout the planning process
Event Planning & Coordination
  • Coordinate event logistics, timelines, staffing needs, and service details from planning through execution
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Track event updates, schedule changes, and special requests to ensure successful execution
  • Partner with operations teams to deliver seamless event experiences
Communication & Team Collaboration
  • Communicate event details clearly to Operations, Staffing, and other internal departments
  • Ensure all teams receive timely, accurate information needed for successful execution
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients before, during, and after events
  • Collaborate across departments to proactively resolve challenges and keep projects on track
Business Development & Account Growth
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and recommend additional services
  • Support client retention through exceptional service and responsiveness
  • Assist with developing new business opportunities through referrals and relationship management
Financial & Administrative Management
  • Prepare and update proposals, contracts, invoices, and event documentation
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records related to assigned accounts
  • Maintain organized client files and event documentation using company systems
  • Support reporting and administrative processes as needed
Professional Standards & Accountability
  • Uphold Greenawalt Hospitality's standards for client service, communication, and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, venue requirements, and operational procedures
  • Demonstrate accountability, organization, and attention to detail in every aspect of the role

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, hospitality, event planning, client services, sales, or operations
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software (TripleSeat experience is a plus)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as business needs require

Salary

$37,500–$45,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
