Position Summary:

Nalu Federal is seeking an experienced Corporate Program Manager to provide executive-level oversight of all company operations supporting Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and associated Defense Health Agency (DHA) customers.

This position serves as Nalu Federal's senior corporate representative at WRNMMC, providing operational leadership across multiple contracts supporting clinical operations, information technology, healthcare administration, logistics, data analytics, and program support services.

The Corporate Program Manager ensures contract performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth while serving as the primary liaison between Government leadership and Nalu Federal executive management.

This position requires a highly adaptable leader capable of managing diverse professional workforces supporting both medical and non-medical missions throughout the installation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Leadership

  • Provide corporate oversight for multiple WRNMMC and DHA contracts.
  • Ensure successful execution of all contract requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance, staffing, quality metrics, deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct recurring program reviews with Government leadership.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary corporate representative to:
    • Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
    • Defense Health Agency
    • Contracting Officers
    • Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs)
    • Military and civilian leadership
  • Build strong relationships with Government stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings, working groups, and executive briefings.
  • Represent Nalu Federal professionally at all times.

Workforce Management

  • Supervise Program Managers and Site Leads.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and employee development.
  • Conduct employee counseling and performance evaluations.
  • Resolve personnel issues in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service.

Contract Administration

  • Ensure compliance with:
    • FAR
    • DFARS
    • Contract requirements
    • Company policies
    • Security requirements
    • Quality Management System
  • Review contract modifications.
  • Monitor funding and staffing levels.
  • Support option year planning.

Financial Management

  • Monitor contract profitability.
  • Review labor utilization.
  • Manage indirect expenses.
  • Track subcontractor performance.
  • Review invoices and financial reports.
  • Support forecasting and budget planning.

Business Development Support

  • Identify follow-on opportunities.
  • Develop customer relationships supporting future growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive program management experience supporting Federal Government contracts.
  • Minimum 5 years managing complex service contracts within the Department of Defense or Defense Health Agency.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams including:

Security Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Government background investigation.
  • Must be eligible for installation access at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
  • Current Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility preferred.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred but not required.

Location Requirements

Due to the operational nature of this position, the selected candidate must reside within approximately 30 minutes driving distance of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, to ensure timely on-site support for Government meetings, employee matters, operational issues, and emergency response requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Prior military service or experience supporting military medical treatment facilities.
  • Experience supporting Defense Health Agency or Military Health System programs.
