Job description

Description SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support and assist Site Leadership of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Information Operations (UAVIO) program Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC-Pac), Naval Base Point Loma. Must be Local to San Diego, CA. This role will be providing inventory management for government property, ensuring compliance with federal, Navy and Department of War property management regulations. Perform a variety of Office Services functions including facilities management / maintenance, purchasing and shipping / receiving. Job Duties: * Utilize SolidWorks PDM to track parts, access technical data, and manage inventory control records in support of all operations, maintenance, and sustainment activities. * Manage the availability, allocation, and tracking of materials, supplies and finished products using government-provided systems. * Coordinate the end-to-end movement of goods, including shipping, receiving, and delivery to project labs and final customers, with a focus on maximizing value and minimizing costs. * Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including provisioning new builds, coordinating repair/spares, and planning for obsolescence. * Ensure effective management of all government property used by the UAVIO program by properly tracking, maintaining, and safeguarding all equipment, tools, and assets. * Prepare and provide documentation for routine inspections or audits to verify accountability and condition of government property. * Maintain accurate logs, records, and databases related to the management of government property. * Review and update current access control procedures to limit potential discrepancies during annual inventories and spot audits. * Coordinate disposal of general non-hazardous waste materials with Naval Excess Team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and Department of War regulations. * Ensure all personal or sensitive data is removed from electronic devices, to include SIM cards and storage devices. * Research and submit requests for Unique Material Master (UMM) numbers in the Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system for purchased or manufactured parts.
* Coordinate with Budget Finance Manager (BFM) to request funding confirmation and obtain approvals for purchases. * Oversee the management and maintenance of the vehicles assigned to the UAVIO project. Maintain mileage logs, schedule preventative maintenance and repairs, file accident reports, and ensure they are in optimal condition. Qualifications Requirements: * Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
* Experience with SolidWorks PDM. * Navy ERP OM&S Logistician Web Based Training. * Navy ERP OM&S Logistician Classroom Training. * Experience with Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). * Must be a U.S. citizen. * Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start. Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
