Addison Group is hiring for our client; a growing distribution company. This role will play a key part in managing logistics, customer orders, and daily supply chain operations.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics operations, customer order management, and supply chain coordination. This role will oversee the full order lifecycle, including order entry, transportation coordination, purchase order management, and communication with customers, suppliers, carriers, and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, strong organizational skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from initial entry through shipment and final delivery while ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate transportation activities, including carrier communication, freight quotes, scheduling pickups, and delivery appointments.
  • Communicate with retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers regarding order updates, availability, shipping details, and delivery timelines.
  • Process EDI transactions, customer portals, invoices, Bills of Lading, and other required documentation.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues related to shortages, delays, backorders, or transportation challenges.
  • Create and manage purchase orders while following up with suppliers regarding production schedules, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from manufacturing partners to distribution facilities.
  • Support inventory accuracy by entering receipts, reviewing documentation, and reconciling purchase orders with receiving records.
  • Assist with international shipments, including air and ocean freight coordination and export documentation.
  • Schedule local pickups and assist with fleet and transportation coordination.
  • Prepare and coordinate refrigerated product samples for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide operational support to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or order management.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English required.
  • Experience working with retail customers, grocery distributors, or food/beverage companies strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes from order entry through delivery.
  • Experience working with EDI systems, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
