Position SummaryThe Senior Logistics Analyst will serve as the lead for Logistics Analysis and Process Optimization, in accordance with PWS 2.5.8.1. This position is responsible for analyzing Army logistics and supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and developing recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and mission effectiveness.The Senior Logistics Analyst will provide technical leadership and direction to junior logistics analysts while supporting data-driven decision-making across logistics operations. The position requires extensive Army logistics experience and hands-on knowledge of the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead for Logistics Analysis and Process Optimization activities in accordance with PWS 2.5.8.1.Analyze logistics, supply chain, inventory, and transportation operations to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.Evaluate logistics processes and develop recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, readiness, and resource utilization.Conduct detailed analysis of Army logistics data and operational requirements.Utilize LMP and other applicable Army logistics systems to support analysis, reporting, and decision-making.Analyze inventory levels, material availability, demand, transportation requirements, and other supply chain performance indicators.Develop and recommend inventory-management and transportation-optimization strategies.Apply applicable Army supply regulations, policies, and procedures when conducting logistics analyses.Develop reports, briefings, metrics, and recommendations for Government and program leadership.Translate complex logistics information into clear and actionable recommendations.Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and task direction to junior logistics analysts.Review analytical products prepared by junior personnel to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with requirements.Collaborate with Government personnel, program leadership, logistics professionals, and other stakeholders to address operational requirements.Support continuous process-improvement initiatives across assigned logistics functions.Perform additional logistics analysis and optimization responsibilities as required to support contract objectives.Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of Army logistics experience.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).Demonstrated experience conducting logistics or supply chain analysis.Required Skills and QualificationsAn active SECRET security clearance is required.Strong knowledge of Army logistics and supply chain operations.Demonstrated expertise in inventory management.Experience with transportation analysis and optimization.Working knowledge of applicable Army supply regulations, policies, and procedures.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify operational trends and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop professional reports, briefings, and analytical products.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to junior analysts.
