Compensation: $90K-$120K+ Bonus
Location: Seattle, WA

Our client is a specialty food company dealing in premium seafood products - including King Crab, Golden King Crab, and Snow Crab - as well as Frozen Gourmet Pasta Entrées and Crab Products. They offer a competitive benefits package that includes employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, along with a 401(k) with employer match.
They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day functions that keep products moving efficiently from cold storage to customers. Responsibilities
  • Plan, lead, and oversee daily production operations at third-party cold storage facilities.
  • Process production transactions in an ERP system, maintaining accurate tracking of live inventory movements, yields, and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to align production schedules with customer expectations, forecasts, and order priorities.
  • Manage inventory and the purchasing of packaging materials and production supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor inventory across all stages of production - raw materials, packaging, and finished goods - coordinating with Warehouse and Logistics teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead monthly inventory reconciliation, investigate discrepancies (including GL vs. inventory posting issues), and execute corrective actions.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments with cold storage partners, including advance load notices and delivery timing.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of operations management experience, ideally within seafood, meat, food processing, or another perishable/cold-chain supply environment.
  • Demonstrated ERP experience with the ability to manage inventory, production workflows, and accounting-related issues.
  • Proven supplier and vendor management skills, including negotiation experience.
  • Strong analytical instincts with comfort diving into spreadsheets and ERP-generated reports.
  • Excellent internal communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving across Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
  • A passion for continuous improvement - with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.

If you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoy solving complex logistical puzzles, and want to see the direct results of your work every day, this is an outstanding opportunity. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today and take the next step in their operations career.
