Your day at NTT DATA
The Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing detailed technical support relating to the organization's supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources.
The primary objective of this role is to achieve cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible administration of solutions (flow of material, value, information).
This role participates in the execution of the logistics and supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain including B2B integration.
Key responsibilities:
  • Ensures the necessary processes and systems exist for the buying team to execute the everyday activities.
  • Ensures the flow of materials, products, services and information.
  • Engages with vendors and clients and intervene when queries from these stakeholders are escalated.
  • Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of advanced components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries.
  • Ensures the necessary processes are in place to ensure continuous client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the pre-sales processes and/or successes to ensure growth within the assigned portfolio.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to create the best solution design for the client and develop procedures and systems for commercial supply chain projects ensuring commercial readiness.
  • Works on strategic projects that identify risks to supply chain delivery and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions.
  • Assists with any other relevant task as requested by management.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or Information Technology or a related field.
  • Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics certification preferred.

Required experience:
  • Seasoned experience relevant to the field within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment.
  • Seasoned experience in service delivery within a supply chain environment.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $65,000 - 90,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
