Job Summary: Inventory Management - Contractor - C Location: Palm Bay, FL, 32905 [About the Role] Join our high-impact Transportation and Freight Billing team as an experienced Inventory Management Support professional. You will play an essential part in supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense programs, ensuring effective transportation operations and accurate freight billing while maintaining compliance with intricate government and international shipping regulations. This is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity for those who excel in logistics, finance, and operational efficiency. [Responsibilities] - Review, process, and allocate freight invoices, ensuring timely and accurate program charging. - Communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and missing documentation. - Generate comprehensive freight cost reports using BI Inform or similar business intelligence tools. - Collaborate with Accounting and Program Finance to rectify charge issues and manage allocation codes. - Support audits by maintaining organized records of all freight invoices and related documentation. - Process government and international shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate documentation. - Create and manage government transportation forms (DD250, DD1348, GBL, etc.). - Coordinate complex domestic and international shipments, consolidating logistics operations. - Support receiving, stockroom, and packaging operations, including material inspection and record management. - Maintain EHS compliance and contribute to process improvement initiatives. - Operate material handling equipment and support shipping of hazardous/classified materials as needed. [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations (or 2 years post-secondary education with 2 years relevant experience). - Proven expertise in freight billing, invoice management, and cost analysis. - Hands-on knowledge of government and international shipping regulations. - Ability to stand for long periods and handle items up to 45 pounds safely. - Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - U.S. Person status required (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual). - Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. [Preferred Skills] - Direct experience with WAWF, EASE, ETA (FAST/SIR), and GBL systems. - Experience in export documentation and Automated Export System (AES) filings. - Proficiency in BI Inform, advanced Excel, and freight audit systems. - Knowledge of rate negotiation, carrier contracts, and accounts payable processes. - Familiarity with MRP and Agile PDM tools. - Dangerous Goods by Air certification (IATA or equivalent). - Demonstrated leadership, customer service, and multitasking abilities.
