About the Role
Talarico for Texas is hiring a People Operations Manager to join James Talarico's US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position ideal for a highly organized and people-oriented professional who enjoys building strong internal systems and team culture. The People Operations Manager will oversee staff lifecycle operations and work closely with the Deputy Operations Director to cultivate a collaborative, and mission-driven workplace across the campaign.
Responsibilities
  • Lead people operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and staff support
  • Manage staff records, documentation, and personnel processes
  • Support hiring and recruitment logistics, including job postings, and candidate communication
  • Serve as point of contact for staff inquires related to policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns
  • Maintain and communicate internal policies, procedures, and staff expectations
  • Support compliance with campaign employment practices and reporting requirements
  • Build and maintain systems that improve human resource organization, communication, and operations across the campaign

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in political campaigns, government offices, people operations, or other relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exhibits discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
