Job description

Role               : Lead – Logistics

Language     : Local Language and English

Location       :

We are looking for a proactive passionate  Operations Lead that will  oversee the local warehouse/logistics operations.

Primary responsibilities are :

·         Lead the team to deliver end to end device lifecycle management (New Devices, Imaging, Deployment, Recycling) and associated Asset Management Activities.

·         Warehouse / logistics management.

·         Lead a team  that provide asset management (Asset Tagging, Asset Accuracy and Inventory Management  , warehouse/logistics and delivery services to our key clients.

·         SLA / KPI Management.

·         Oversee local operations (Process/Runbooks, Productivity, inventory management, Stock Movements, escalations, shift coverage, Quality control and Asset Tagging)

·         Ensure the area is safe/secure to work in (cameras, door access, regular cleaning)

·         Lead/own additional activities conducted from the facility (i.e new equipment, Build of Devices, OEM Repairs, Disposal Co-ordination)

·         Customer Relationship Management

·         Work with  Vendor providing services (warehouse, logistics, disposals)

·         Regular meetings with Team and Client

·         Provide direction to the  team including coaching as required

·         Reporting and MIS

·         Assist with scoping small/mid-sized projects and oversee

·         Develop/implement service improvements and cost reduction activities

·         Time management.

·         Suggest and support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues.

·         Review and recommend sustainability developments.  

 

Skills, Experience and Qualification Required

Business Skills:

 

·         Ability to interact with staff/customers so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive as the contract required

·         To work through issues analytically to a successful conclusion

·         Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization,

·         Understanding of Financials, including cost control, project revenue/costs

Personal Skills

·         Speak Local Language and English Language. Any other European Languages are an advantage

·         Experienced in working in a fast paced environment.

·         Strong customer service and team management skills

·         Ability to manage/motivate people and teams,

·         Must be detail oriented and self-motivating

·         Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills at senior level,

·         Relationship Management – internal and external customers, Flexibility, Presentation Skills and  Team Skills

Technical Skills:

·         Operational experience within the Asset Management, logistic and supply chain industry.

·         Excellent understanding IT infrastructure would be an advantage.

·         Excellent understanding about asset management / inventory management.

·         Demonstrate experience in leading warehouse operations/ logistics providers and strong negotiation skills.

·         Strong experience within the tech industry would be an advantage.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

·         A minimum of 3 years within the warehouse/logistics industry.  

·         Strong understanding on warehouse / logistics management.

·         Strong Analytical and Data Analysis Skills using Microsoft excel (pivot tables/vlookups etc..) and other reporting tools

·         Ideal candidate will have previous experience using ServiceNow with CMDB module

·         Ideal candidate will Bachelor’s degree of equivalent in business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant field.

·         Ideal candidate will have experience of warehouse/logistics management in IT Sector (Desktops/Laptops/Screens etc..)
