Job description

Hackbarth Delivery Service is a single source solutions provider for transportation and logistics needs and w e pride ourselves on innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to excellence in everything we do. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Representative to join our team and help us grow our Transportation and Logistics operations.
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the sales staff, assisting with customer solutions, and maintaining and growing existing accounts. The position involves a high volume of customer interaction, including prospecting, and qualifying customers. Marketing & Sales Support is responsible for responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Also, managing customer orders, in a manner which adheres to Hackbarth's procedures, is a primary responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Creates Press Releases, media blast and other marketing material for Hackbarth.
  • Assist with the marketing materials and preparation for tradeshows and other events.
  • Creates/Manages Social Media postings (i.e. LinkedIn, Face Book, etc.) on a regular basis.
  • Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow business.
  • Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with prospective, current and former customers.
  • Identify business opportunities for Hackbarth' s services.
  • Create quotations and sales proposals in collaboration with sales staff.
  • Collaborate with appropriate internal resources on pricing decisions.
  • Organizes and ensures RFPs, RFIs and questionnaires are complete and submitted timely.
  • Ensures that new clients and existing clients are set up correctly with accounting and that they are billed appropriately for the work performed consistent with the contractual agreement.
  • Maintain service agreements in a centralized file library with shared access.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems.
  • Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of Hackbarth Delivery Service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or Communications and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-4 years in freight solution sales, marketing or customer service.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers.
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
  • Proven sales track record in public relations and marketing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment.
  • Experience in choosing, deploying, and using marketing and sales applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Work effectively with internal and external individuals, including other professionals in the community.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media.
  • Manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
