Operations Manager - Armature Works

Three Oaks Hospitality Group

Tampa, FL • On-site

$45K/yr

Full-time

Posted 20 days ago

Job description

Set inside a beautifully restored 1910s trolley car barn on the Tampa Riverwalk, Armature Works is one of the city's most iconic destinations. The property includes a bustling food hall known as The Market, coworking space, event venues, and sweeping riverfront views. Every day, thousands of guests, vendors, tenants, and neighbors pass through our doors, and we're looking for someone who can make sure every one of those visits feels effortless.
The Role
We're hiring an Operations Manager who is responsible for keeping Armature Works running like clockwork. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives on variety, moves fast, solves problems before they become problems, and takes real pride in the property and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
You'll be the person facilities calls first, the person security checks in with, the person a vendor flags down when something needs fixing, and the person who notices the small details that make a big first impression. If you love the energy of hospitality and the satisfaction of a tightly run operation, this is your role.
What You'll Do
  • Own daily operations - oversee the day-to-day running of Armature Works, ensuring the property is consistently safe, clean, organized, and welcoming for every guest, vendor, tenant, and employee who walks through
  • Coordinate facilities - manage upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance so the building always presents at its best
  • Lead housekeeping standards - ensure cleanliness protocols are met throughout public areas, food-hall spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house
  • Oversee security operations - coordinate with security personnel to maintain a safe environment for everyone on property
  • Support food-hall operations - partner with vendors and tenants to keep shared spaces running smoothly and efficiently
  • Champion guest services - be a visible, responsive presence that ensures guests have a positive, memorable experience
  • Support events - coordinate operational logistics around private events, activations, and programming held on-site
  • Uphold Armature Works standards - maintain the operating standards, policies, and procedures that keep the property consistent, professional, and true to its brand

What You Bring
  • Proven experience in operations, facilities, hospitality, property, or venue management
  • A hands-on leadership style - comfortable managing teams and comfortable rolling up your sleeves
  • Strong communication skills; confident coordinating across vendors, tenants, contractors, and staff
  • Sharp problem-solving instincts and calm decision-making under pressure
  • A genuine eye for detail and pride of ownership in the spaces you manage
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days as needed
