Summary
The Senior Analyst - Parts Logistics position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated with the Parts Distribution business. Their tasks include, but are not limited to, daily monitoring, analyzing relevant data, formulating reports, developing presentations, providing support with selecting and managing carriers, preparing network optimization studies, and developing and monitoring annual business plans as related to parts distribution.
Compensation
$55,000-$65,000/Year (Compensation study will be conducted upon selection of candidate)
Responsibilities
-Oversee Parts Distribution Daily Operations
- Directly investigating and troubleshooting daily operational issues
- Monitor daily operations as related to Parts Distribution
- Maintain consistent daily communication with carriers and customers to ensure seamless resolution
- Fulfill customer requests for KPI reporting
- Assist with development of KPI's to measure the effectiveness of the carriers/service providers
- Maintain open dialogue with other department to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
- Billing Forecast & Accruals, Departmental Projects, and RFP
- Prepare analysis, projections and forecasts as they relate to Parts Distribution
- Assist with all business activities with EDI and manual invoicing
• Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in financial and operational due diligence, when applicable, by collecting and analyzing financial and operational data
- Prepare analysis, projections and forecasts as they relate to Parts Distribution
- Collect historical data, and research/consider trends (from an internet source or target company's internal systems) to develop a reasonable forecast
- Prepare project status reports, profitability reports, executive summaries and presentations as needed
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly KPI reports; On-time, claims and exceptions
- Formulate project reports as requested by Finance and/or Operations departments
- Develop recommendations and prepare necessary approval documents for management in Operations and Finance
- Support annual business plan preparation
- Participate software development and/or system improvements as related to parts distribution

Required
