The Opportunity:

Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator, for our Energy Office, located at 940 Redonda Ave Winnipeg. This is a full-time, position reporting to the Manager.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Commercial Energy Logistics Manager, the Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting day-to-day warehouse, fuel, lubricant, and hardware operations. This role combines customer interaction, order processing, dispatch coordination, inventory control, and administrative reporting in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Act as a frontline representative, delivering professional and friendly service to customers in person, by phone, and electronically.

  • Take and process customer orders accurately; coordinate deliveries and pickups in a timely manner

  • Perform data entry, order entry, and reporting using POS, dispatch, and inventory systems

  • Support dispatch operations by coordinating deliveries, maintaining schedules, and communicating with drivers and team members 

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming product; ensure inventory accuracy and proper storage 

  • Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems including cash handling, opening/closing, and product file maintenance

  • Maintain retail floor inventory and display, including stocking and merchandising products, assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution utilizing various computer applications.

  • Prepare administrative reports and maintain accurate records for inventory, sales, and dispatch activities  

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.

  • Support daily operations and assist management as required.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with accurate data entry abilities.
  • Comfortable using multiple computer systems and technology platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in office administration with commercial industries, retail, warehouse, fuel/petroleum, or hardware environments considered an asset.
  • Experience with various computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
  • Previous experience with inventory, POS, dispatch, or ERP systems preferred.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset.
  • Reliable, dependable, and safety focused.

  • Fast-paced, customer-focused environment that supports office, retail, fuel and logistics and occasional warehouse responsibilities.
