Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director of Operations to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of public and private sector organizations while overseeing multiple departments and locations.
* Formulate high-level policies and manage the daily operations of complex networks involving diverse human and material resources.
* Act as the principal authority for coordinating through subordinate supervisors to achieve mission-critical organizational objectives.
* Serves as the principal lead for theater-wide logistics operations and strategic sustainment planning within the priority theater.
* Authorize the synchronization of multi-domain logistics services to ensure sustained combat power in contested environments.
* Approve complex operational frameworks and serve as the final authority for resolving high-priority logistics gaps and mission constraints.
* Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff. Minimum Qualifications: * BA/BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience working in commercial industry in INDOPACOM AOR
* Must demonstrate strategic experience in formal document approval and acting as the functional lead for program-level operational deliverables.
* Must possess expert-level proficiency in joint theater distribution and theater campaign plan requirements. Preferred Qualifications: * MA/MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or a related i field and 15+ years of position-relevant experience working in Business Operations in and around the INDOPACOM AOR
* PMP certification.
* Extensive experience directing logistics operations for USSOCOM or USINDOPACOM at the senior staff level (O-5/O-6 or equivalent) is highly desired. Clearance Requirements: * Must hold an active Secret clearance Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
