Job description

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Compensation: $19 Hourly
SUMMARY:
Holman Logistics is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing company that has a strong presence country-wide and holds a diverse customer base. This position offers hands-on learning experience in various aspects of logistics operations, from inventory management to shipping and receiving.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by helping to prepare orders and unpack incoming shipments.
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure accurate order selection and fulfillment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and organizing stock.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Learn and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing any and all required personal protective equipment.
  • Learn, model and adhere to all Holman policies, procedures, and the Core Values.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist with all other tasks as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Minimum Age: Must be between 16 and 17 years of age.
  • Education: Currently enrolled in high school or a recent graduate.
  • Experience: Proven record of ten (10) years previous progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or related industry.
  • Necessary Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Willing to listen and learn new skills and ways of working.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office.
  • Other Requirements: Must have parental/guardian consent form completed, and provide work authorization documentation.
