Job description

Overview
Position
The Retail Intern provides cross-functional support to Moncler's Americas Retail organization across Client Relationship Management (CRM), Retail Operations, and Retail Training. This role plays an integral part in supporting client programs, store operations, training initiatives, and the successful execution of one of the brand's most significant milestones-the opening of the Fifth Avenue flagship.
Serving as a key support partner to the Retail team, this individual will assist with the day-to-day execution of client events, administrative and vendor coordination, and store-level operational needs, while contributing directly to the planning and launch of the Fifth Avenue flagship.
Working closely with the CRM, Operations, and Training leadership, the intern will support event execution and reporting, purchase order and expense tracking, vendor research and management, uniform and supply coordination, and the preparation of training and communications materials.
Success in this role will be measured through reliability, attention to detail, quality of execution, and the intern's overall contribution to the team's operational objectives and the successful opening of the Fifth Avenue flagship. This position requires exceptional organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
This internship is expected to begin during July 2026 and continue through the end of the calendar year, providing the opportunity to contribute to multiple strategic retail initiatives, including the opening of the Fifth Avenue flagship.
Your Impact
Client Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Provide day-to-day support for client events and CRM initiatives, including Energy Moments (Evite support, PPPE timeline, and ad-hoc requests).
  • Monitor and execute Mini Moment requests from intake through completion.
  • Support post-event reporting, ROI tracking, and recap preparation.
  • Assist with invoice and purchase order (PO) creation, expense tracking, vendor research, and vendor management coordination.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Regional CRM Managers across the Americas.
  • Support CRM-related needs for the Fifth Avenue flagship opening.

Operations
  • Assist with administrative coordination, including PO reconciliation, expense tracking, vendor research, and vendor management support.
  • Support new store opening operations through supply coordination, uniform allocation, and documentation management.
  • Coordinate uniform allocations across store locations.
  • Create, print, and distribute Moncler-branded "Hold," "Sold," and "Damage" signage for daily store use.
  • Manage the regional champagne vendor relationship and coordinate onboarding of the new client water-delivery vendor.

Fifth Avenue Flagship Opening
  • Compile, print, and frame the "Moncler Through the Years" photo series for the flagship.
  • Research and vet florist and messenger vendors for the opening.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for Americas employees traveling in for set-up and the opening.
  • Provide supply, collateral, and documentation support throughout the build-out and launch window.
  • Respond to ad-hoc needs from the Fifth Avenue opening team as priorities evolve.

Retail Training & Induction
  • Assist with Retail Training communications and content preparation, including newsletters and CC notes.
  • Support the organization and logistics of the 5th Avenue induction program, coordinating training days and sessions across the induction timeline (e.g., Working Sessions, Master Classes, Formal Induction, and In-Store Drills).
  • Maintain the training calendar, scheduling sessions, managing invitations, and tracking participation across the induction period.
  • Coordinate external experts and training vendors for Master Classes and specialized sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and on-site support.
  • Organize training materials and content, and coordinate room and space set-up for in-person sessions throughout the balance of the year.
  • Help align training milestones with the broader 5th Avenue opening calendar and keep stakeholders informed of upcoming sessions.

Professional Conduct & Teamwork
  • Consistently model Moncler's values, behaviors, and commitment to excellence.
  • Foster strong partnerships across Retail, CRM, Training, and store teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when representing the brand.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client-centricity.
  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications
Education
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, fashion, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Work Experience
  • Prior internship or work experience in retail, operations, events, hospitality, or administrative support preferred.
  • Exposure to or strong interest in luxury retail and client experience.
  • Experience with vendor coordination, event support, or administrative project work a plus.

Core Skills and Attributes
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with administrative and vendor-coordination work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Genuine interest in luxury retail, client experience, and the Moncler brand.

Travel
  • Minimal local travel within the New York City area to support store locations, events, and the Fifth Avenue flagship set-up and opening.
