SUMMARY:
The Long Island Nets Seasonal Internship is a part-time, paid program that runs from October 14th, 2026 to May 13th, 2027. Start and end dates can be flexible depending on your academic calendar.
Seasonal Interns are expected to work about 20-40 hours per week with some days expected to be in office and other days remote. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department in which they will remain or rotate for the duration of the program. All internships with the Long Island Nets will require flexibility to work games and events, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Program hours for this internship will take place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY with occasional hours worked at our headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

Summary: The Business Operations Intern supports the Long Island Nets day-to-day business, administration, and gameday functions. This role provides hands-on experience across sports business operations while collaborating with teams throughout the organization to support key goals and initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support gameday and event logistics, budget and expense tracking, administrative projects, and the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards. You'll also assist with Kids Zone operations and serve as a liaison between the business staff and Basketball Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support gameday execution by stage managing, coordinating performers and entertainment talent, managing props and promotional inventory, and assisting with sponsored activations and fan engagement initiatives. You'll also contribute to event logistics, run-of-show preparation, scheduling, and creative ideas for theme nights and entertainment programming.

Summary: The Ticket Sales and Service Intern supports sales initiatives, season ticket member benefits, and gameday fan experiences. This role provides hands-on experience in ticket sales, business development, customer engagement, and ticketing operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will research and prospect new business, conduct outreach to prospective clients, and support the planning and execution of season ticket member benefits. You'll also maintain sales and ticketing information in Ticketmaster Archtics and Salesforce while assisting with fan engagement and on-court experiences on game days.
WHO YOU ARE: You are an outgoing, motivated, and relationship-oriented individual with an interest in sales, customer service, and the business of sports. You're comfortable engaging with prospective clients and fans, managing details, and contributing to memorable gameday experiences in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION
Our seasonal internship program compensation is $18 per hour. Interns are expected to work between 20-40 hours per week.
Requirements:
  • This program is designed for college seniors, students engaged in graduate studies, or recent graduates.
  • All interns must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
  • All roles will require onsite work. You will be required to work hours at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in addition to occasional hours at our headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn,
  • All roles will require flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays, to fulfill primary role objectives.
